One of the game’s most meteoric rising stars, San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey won the National League’s Rookie of the Year award in 2010 and the MVP award in 2012 with Giants’ teams that won the World Series both years. Posey’s batting average of .336 in 2012 also garnered a batting crown. It looks like Posey got a few good rips with this model C243 Louisville Slugger which contains numerous blue ink transfers, green bat rack tracks, ball marks and stitch impressions all around the barrel as well as some pine tar residue at the top of the handle.
