Detroit Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera put together a season for the ages in 2012, becoming the first player to capture Major League Baseball’s elusive Triple Crown since Carl Yastrzemski in 1967. Cabrera, the 2012 American League MVP, boasted a .330 average with 44 home runs and 139 RBIs while leading Detroit to a World Series appearance. Cabrera, an eight-time All-Star with Florida and Detroit, was the MLB Players Choice AL Outstanding Player and Player of the Year in 2012. He is a four-time Silver Slugger award winner and owns a World Series title with the Marlins in 2003. This white XL Majestic Detroit Tigers jersey features Cabrera’s signature and the title “Triple Crown 2012” in silver ink on the “4” on the back of Cabrera’s No. 24 jersey. The right sleeve features a gold outlined Triple Crown patch dated 2012 with Cabrera’s name and the words “batting average,” “runs batted in” and “home runs” in capital letters. The front of the jersey has the traditional Detroit logo on the left chest and a Majestic patch sewn on the bottom-left corner of the front. An LOA accompanies the jersey from James Spence Authentication, certification number X60550.
