Offered is a Cal Ripken Jr. complete signed artist proof limited edition (75) lithographs in a framed set of four prints of the Hall of Fame Baltimore Orioles infielder. Each of the four prints depict Ripken in various moments of his Major League Baseball career, as depicted by artist Doug West, and are displayed in 16 x 20-inch gold metal and glass frames. Each print has an embossed seal in the lower left corner from the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation, each is signed by Cal Ripken Jr. in blue marker in the lower center, and each is signed by the artist, Doug West, in blue marker in the lower right corner. Also, each is inscribed “57/75 Artist Proof” in blue marker in the lower left corner.

The first print is collage painting of Ripken in his Orioles uniform on the evening he set the new MLB record for consecutive games played, 2,131 games, breaking the 56-year-old record set by Lou Gehrig on September 6, 1995 at Camden Yards in Baltimore. The painting depicts Ripken saluting the crowed in attendance, with a background of Ripken shaking hands with fans along the first base line with the “2131” banners on the B&O Warehouse in the upper right. This print comes with a COA from Ripken Baseball. The second item in the set is a collage painting featuring the image of Cal Ripken Jr. in an Orioles uniform with his young son, also in an Orioles uniform and holding a small bat, with a background image of Cal Ripken Sr. instructing two Orioles players in the background, and an image of Ripken Jr.’s eyes in the upper right corner. This print comes with a COA from Ripken Baseball.

The third item in this set is a painting featuring the image of a young Cal Ripken Jr. holding a baseball with the older Ripken Jr. depicted over his right shoulder in an Orioles uniform with a bat in his hands, while Cal Ripken Sr. is depicted above congratulating Orioles players in the background. This print comes with a COA from Ripken Baseball. The fourth item in this set depicts Ripken Jr. at bat in Seattle’s Safeco Field, with an image of Ripken in profile with a bat and batting helmet in the center background, and a portrait of his father, Cal Ripken Sr., in the upper left center of the print. This comes with a LOA from Beckett Authentication, who have graded the signature a GEM MT 10.
