Here we are offering an 1890’s collection of three (3) “Burkhardt Patriotic Club” political campaign advertising pinback buttons including President of the United States Theodore Roosevelt, American Rear Admiral William T. Sampson and American Admiral Winfield Scott Schley. Theodore Roosevelt was an American politician, conservationist, and writer who served as the 26th president of the United States from 1901 to 1909. He served as the 25th vice president from March to September 1901 and as the 33rd governor of New York from 1899 to 1900. Both William T. Sampson and Winfield Scott Schley were rear admirals in the United States Navy and known heroes of the Battle of Santiago de Cuba during the Spanish American War. Each pin is approximately 1 ¼-inches in diameter and in excellent condition.
