Offered here is a collection of (12) 1900s-1920s "Presidential"-themed pins and advertising pieces. The first item in this lot is a William H. Taft campaign ribbon with a full headshot portrait. The ribbon consists of minor fraying. The second item is a Rutherford B. Hayes Republican Ticket which displays well considering the heavy creasing. The third item is beetle button AKA Boll weevils (beetles which feed on cotton buds) was an American political term used in the mid- and late-20th century to describe conservative Southern Democrats. The fourth item is an GOP (Grand Old Party) elephant political pin to symbolize the Republican Party. The fifth item in the lot is a political button displaying (2) candidates on the wings of a metal fly. The sixth item is a Central Railroad of New Jersey nontransferable token. The seventh, eighth and ninth items are political campaign buttons featuring portraits of Theodore Roosevelt, Charles Fairbanks, William McKinley and Andrew Zabriskie.
