Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. Hall of Famer. This much-coveted piece is pleasing in every respect, including focus and print quality. Card number 68 was withdrawn from production because Fleer didn't have permission to use the image of Red Sox General Manager Bucky Harris, who is pictured on this card with Ted as he signs his contract for the 1959 season. Ted was such a tremendous "draw" for card manufacturers that companies annually fought for his contract. An aggressive (and no doubt very generous) campaign by Fleer resulted in that company securing his cooperation for its 1959 tribute. Here's a splendid, Excellent to Mint condition example of this modern rarity.
