Alex Rodriguez spent the first portion of 1995 with the AAA Tacoma Rainiers before being called up to Seattle. The beginning of the ’96 season found him back in Tacoma where he appeared in two games for the Rainiers before returning to Seattle for good. This 1996-dated bat was used by A-Rod during his very brief and final season in the minors. The bat was signed and inscribed with "Game Used" and also has tape on the barrell with ball marks indicating that it was also used in batting practice as well. The Zett model bat shows good game use with a secured crack in the barrel. All sides of the barrel are covered with tremendous ball marks which include ink transfers and leather scuffs. There are paint streaks from the bat rack and many abrasions from contact with other equipment. The broken barrel was been secured with adhesive tape and the handle has a moderate coat of pine tar. A-Rod has signed the barrel in black marker with, “Tacoma (Game Used).” A stunning pre-rookie A-Rod gamer. This bat comes with a LOAs from PSA/DNA (1B18660) and Alex Rodriguez for the game use and a LOA from Beckett Authentication for the signature.
