Former running back James Jones wore this road white Detroit Lions mesh jersey circa 1986-1988. In those three seasons, Jones combined to rush for 1,559 yards, 855 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. This jersey was made by Sand-Knit and is a size 48. Jones number “30” is screen-printed on the front, back and shoulders in blue and silver. Blue and silver stripes are screen-printed on the sleeves. The “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the DETROIT LIONS” and “Sand-Knit 48” tags are sewn on the bottom front left tail. The back has “J. JONES” sewn on in blue tackle twill on a matching white nameplate. This jersey displays heavy game use with over a dozen team repairs throughout the jersey, along with mud stains, paint transfers and contact abrasions.
