Hall of Fame outfielder and all-time stolen base king Rickey Henderson spread his remarkable 25-year career out among nine different teams including a very memorable but brief season-and-half with the New York Mets in 1999-2000. Rickey hit .315 with 37 stolen bases, 12 home runs and 42 RBI for the NL Wild Card winning Mets in 1999. It looks like Rickey had a few good cuts with this shiny black Louisville Slugger C271 model bat which displays white leather ball scuffs and stitch impressions all around the barrel and on the silver engraving of Rickey’s name in block letters. Rickey put some criss-cross adhesive tape on the handle and his number 24 and RH initials are hand written in black marker over silver paint. Rickey signed his Rickey in bold silver sharpie with a 2000 inscription on the barrel just above the MLB logo and model information. Bat comes with Mos Sports COA signed by Rickey with 3” x 5” color photo of Rickey holding the bat and contains dual PSA/DNA authentication stickers for the bat (#1B05829) and signature (#U69448) and full PSA/DNA letter of authenticity GU grade 9.
