Perhaps best known now as the late father of Barry Bonds, Bobby enjoyed an All-Star-worthy 14-year career as outfielder for a host of teams. He holds the MLB record for most leadoff home runs and hit 332 in his career. This 37-inch, 34.9-oz. game-used ash Louisville Slugger Model 125 exhibits evidence of heavy use: a cracked handle, four ball marks are visible on the top, rear and bottom of the barrel. Evidence of pine tar is found from knob to handle. The knob is inscribed in black marker with Bond’s number, “25.” The bat’s barrel is engraved with “GENUINE J93/Bobby Bonds/Louisville Slugger.” Bat grades a GU 9 and includes an LOA from PSA/DNA (#1B05833) accompanies this item.
