Randy Cross spent his entire 13-year career as an offensive lineman for the San Francisco 49ers, winning three Super Bowl titles with the great Niners’ teams of the 1980s. Cross wore this road white 49ers’ jersey circa 1986-87. This white mesh Russell Athletic size 52 jersey features Cross’ number “51” screen-printed on the front, back and sleeves in red. The sleeves also have three red stripes that have been screen-printed. “CROSS” is screen-printed in red on a matching white mesh nameplate on the back shoulder. The sides of the jersey have a white Spandex material that displays toning and the Russell Athletic tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail. The jersey is equipped with a six-button crotch strap that is still intact and there are lace holes under each of the arms. This jersey displays excellent game use with over a dozen team repairs and abrasion marks. This jersey comes with a LOA from RGU, who have authenticated this jersey to the 1987-88 seasons, a LOA from PM&G authenticating this jersey’s use to 1986 and a copy of a letter of purchase from the 49ers dated April 1, 1988 stating this jersey was worn by Cross during the 1987 season.
