New York Yankees ace David Cone wore this white with pinstriped Yankees home jersey during the 1997 MLB season. Cone made the American League All-Star team in 1997, pitching his way to a 12-6 record with a 2.82 ERA for the 96-66 Yankees. This size 44 button-down jersey has the Yankees interlocking “NY” sewn on the upper left chest in navy and white tackle twill. Cone’s number “36” is sewn on the back of the jersey in navy twill. The right sleeve has the “JACKIE ROBINSON 50 1947-1997 BREAKING BARRIERS” patch. A Russell Athletic size “44” and a faded “CONE – 97” white tags are sewn on the front left tail. A “100% Polyester” flag is attached to the Russell tag. This jersey displays moderate game use and Cone has signed his name below the “NY” on the front in black marker and inscribed “36” and “’97 Gamer””. This jersey comes with a LOA from 100% Authentic for the game use.
