Jorge Posada, the 5-time All-Star catcher, used this bat during the 2002 season. Though the Yanks did not make the World Series that Fall, Posada did his best to get them there, driving in 99 runs and banging out 20 home runs. The Louisville Slugger M356 model bat shows good game use with many ball marks on the barrel. There are several prominent white leather ball scuffs on the back barrel along with ink transfers and cleat imprints. The handle has been taped in a crisscross pattern and a heavy coat of pine tar applied to enhance the grip. This bat comes with LOAs from PSA/DNA (1B18645) and Yankees-Steiner for the game use.
