Presented is a Kobe Bryant signature on commemorative Spalding Official NBA David J. Stern game ball. The late Los Angeles Lakers superstar signed his name in black marker and inscribed his number, “24”, below his signature on the orange leather basketball, above the white painted presentation panel. The panel is captioned “Kobe Bryant Breaks Laker All-Time Scoring Record 25,193 Points Feb 1, 2010 Los Angeles Lakers” in purple, orange, yellow and black paint. The Los Angeles Lakers logo is painted in yellow and purple at the left, while the Memphis Grizzlies logo is painted on the right in blue, teal and yellow. Bryant scored 44 points against the Memphis Grizzlies on February 1, 2010 at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee, and passed Jerry West to become the leading scorer in Lakers history. The franchise has a glossy history of talent from George Mikan and Elgin Baylor to Magic Johnson and Shaquille O’Neal, but nobody played more seasons or scored more points in purple and gold than Bryant. This item comes with a LOA from Beckett Authentication, which has graded the signature GEM MINT 10.
