World Cup champion Pedro El Indio Arispe was given this gold pin in 1950 to celebrate Uruguay’s four world championships. Arispe won gold medals with Uruguay in the 1924 and 1928 Summer Olympics before playing with la celeste in the 1930 FIFA World Cup title run. Arispe played domestically for Rampla Juniors during the 1920’s and 1930’s, making over 300 league appearances for las picapiedras.

This offered pin is gold and enamel, with text that reads “AUF 24 28 30 50 Campeones Olimpicos Mundiales” on the front. The reverse side of the pin is etched with “P. Arispe”. This historic pin is a fantastic artifact from a champion of the first FIFA World Cup!
