If you were even the best baserunner in the NL in 2007, you had no better than a 50% chance at swiping a base off Yadier Molina. That little-used stat is the perfect tool to gauge how formidable Molina was behind the plate in his prime. That 2007 season the Cardinals backstop hit a career-high .275, becoming more dangerous as the summer wore on, culminating in 49 hits in his last 50 games. Molina’s 2007 season-used Marucci CB15 model bat shows excellent game use with a handle crack that extends into the center brand. The barrel displays many ball marks and abrasions along with bat rack paint streaks. The handle has been wrapped with black adhesive tape and a heavy coat of pine tar applied. Molina has signed the barrel in black marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18636) for the game use and has been graded a solid GU 8.5 and a COA from JSA for the signature.
