Former quarterback Ty Detmer spent one season with the Cleveland Browns in 1999. Detmer appeared in five games, starting two of them. This brown Cleveland Browns mesh jersey was worn by Detmer in the 1999 season, the inaugural season of the return of the Browns as an expansion team, following the departure of the original franchise to Baltimore following the 1995 season. This jersey has been photo matched to the October 17, 1999 game in Jacksonville. This size 46 Puma jersey has Detmer’s number “11” sewn on the front, back and shoulders in white tackle twill. “DETMER” is sewn on in white tackle twill on matching brown nameplate. The NFL shield patch is sewn on the base of the V-neck collar and a “1999” patch is sewn on the upper left chest. The sleeves have white and orange stripes screen-printed and the Puma name and logo are sewn on in white between the numbers and the stripes. The white team patch is sewn on the interior back collar that reads “99-46”. This jersey displays light use and comes with a LOA from RGU, who have photo matched this jersey to the October 17, 1999 game in which Detmer did not appear. Additionally, there is a LOA from PM&G for the game use.
