Offered is a Duke Snider signed and inscribed “The Statball” baseball featuring 15 inscriptions in blue pen referencing the Hall of Fame Dodgers centerfielder’s outstanding Major League Baseball career. Snider has signed his name on the sweet spot of the Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseball, and inscribed “HOF 80” below his signature. Above the sweet spot, Snider has inscribed “2143 Games 7161 At Bats 1259 Runs 2116 Hits 1333 RBI’s 7 All Star Games”. Below the sweet spot he has inscribed “” Duke of Flatbush” 358 Doubles 85 Triples 295 Career Avg.”. To the left of his signature he has inscribed “263/1000 5 Straight 40+ Home Run Seasons 407 Home Runs”, and inscribed “11 W.S. Home Runs 26 W.S. RBI’s” to the right. Snider spent most of his career playing for the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers (1947–1962), later playing one season each for the New York Mets (1963) and San Francisco Giants (1964). In 16 out of 18 seasons with the Dodgers, he helped lead the Dodgers to six World Series, with victories in 1955 and 1959.
