Offered is a Derek Jeter signature on a limited-edition artist proof of a Danny Dray collage painting of the Hall of Fame New York Yankees shortstop. Jeter has signed his name in black marker in the lower center of the print, and inscribed “AS WS MVP” below his signature. The 34 x 44-inch color collage features four images of Jeter, including a head and shoulder portrait in the upper left, an image of Jeter swinging a bat in the 1998 World Series in the center, an image of Jeter running out of the batter’s box in his road gray Yankees jersey, and an image of Jeter fielding a ball in his white Yankees home jersey. The background features navy-blue pinstripes against white, with a painting of the historic Yankee Stadium rooftop frieze at the top of the print.  The background also includes seven captions painted in navy blue over the white and gray interlocking “NY” logo. The captions include: “1996 World Series Champions”, “1996 Rookie of the Year”, “1998 World Series Champions”, “2000 All Star Game MVP”, “2000 World Series Champions”, “2000 World Series MVP”, and “1999 World Series Champions”. The artist, Danny Day, has signed his name in black pen in the lower right corner. The print is inscribed “21/26 Artist Proof” in black pen in the lower left corner.
