Spending his entire 18-year Hall of Fame career with the New York Yankees, Mickey Mantle certainly was a baseball icon. “The Mick” hit 536 home runs and won three Most Valuable Player Awards, the Triple Crown and seven World Series titles with the Yankees. He ended his playing days after the 1968 season. Mickey Mantle’s Restaurant – located on Central Park South – opened in 1988. Known for its vast displays of sports memorabilia and art, the restaurant was popular among fans until it was closed in 2012. Presented here are four Mickey Mantle’s Restaurant chairs, two with blue wooden legs and blue padded seats and wooden-designed backs that features Mantle’s number “7”. These functional seats, which shows use, have a metal frame and measures approximately 33 inches tall and approximately 16 inches wide. The other two chairs are taller bar-sized chairs with natural wood legs and blue pads. These chairs are fully functional and display moderate use. Please note that due to the size and weight of this lot, shipping costs will be higher.
