Hall of Famer Greg Maddux went 19-9 in 1999 when he wore this Russell Athletic size 46, gray button-down Atlanta Braves road jersey. Maddux signed his name in bold black marker on the top rung of the “3” of his red and blue tackle twill number 31 on the back of the jersey. “MADDUX” is sewn on in navy tackle twill on a matching gray nameplate above his number. The front of the jersey has “Atlanta” sewn on in cursive with a tomahawk paraph, all sewn across the front in red and navy with gold accents. Red and blue piping ring the sleeves and run around the collar and alongside the buttons. A commemorative “Hank Aaron 715 25th Anniversary” patch is attached on the left shoulder. The Russell Athletic manufacturers label and “100% POLYESTER” and “2” EXTRA LENGTH” flags are affixed on the front left tail. Please note that there is fraying on the polyester and extra length flags. This jersey shows light to moderate wear with evidence of light wash wear. There are small pin holes and fabric stretch marks near the side seams on the back indicating that this jersey may have been folded and pinned to a display.
