During the 2012 season there was no player who hit the ball harder and farther than Giancarlo Stanton. In one game that summer he smashed a 462-foot shot that set the speed record for ESPN’s Home Run Tracker, then went on to hit home runs that set the distance record for both Coors Field and Marlins Stadium. Stanton’s 2012 Louisville Slugger U47 model bat shows good game use. There are several prominent ball marks and scuffs on the barrel along with abrasions from contact with other equipment. The barrel and knob end have Stanton’s number “27” handwritten on both ends in silver marker and the bat’s specs are stamped into the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18647) for the game use.
