Even at the “advanced” age of 37, Hall of Famer Edgar Martinez drove in 145 runs in 2000 - the highest in the AL that year. Martinez also clubbed 37 home runs and had a lofty .324 average. Martinez’s 2000 Louisville Slugger M356S model bat shows tremendous game use. The barrel displays many ball marks with stitch impressions and ink transfers alongside bat rack paint streaks and cleat imprints. A moderate coat of pine tar is on the handle and the bat’s specs and Martinez’s number “11” is handwritten on the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18652) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.
