The all-time leader in home runs hit by a second baseman (377), Jeff Kent played for six big league teams in his 17-year career, winning the NL MVP award with the San Francisco Giants in 2000. Kent, who will become eligible for election to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014, wore this clean Houston Astros red alternate jersey during the 2004 season. Kent made his fourth of five All-Star appearances starting for the NL at second base in the 2004 mid-summer classic hosted by the Astros at Minute Maid Park, going 1-2 with a run scored. This size-48 MLB Authentic/Majestic jersey features “Houston” written across the chest in sand chain stitching with Kent’s name sewn into a name plate on the back. Kent’s number 12 is stitched onto the back in tan numbers and lower front left side in black. The 2004 Houston All-Star Game patch is attached to the right sleeve and a “Texas Star” patch with an Astros star logo overlapping the state of Texas is on the left sleeve; comes with a Houston Astros COA.
