This offered trophy commemorates the then-named Army Cadets’ defeat of their long-time rivals, Navy Midshipmen, in their historic annual matchup on November 30, 1935. The game was held in the traditional home of Army-Navy games, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 1935 was the last year this matchup was held at Franklin Field, the home of UPENN as Army defeated Navy 28-6.

The bronze trophy seen here bears an engravement of the date of this matchup as well as the final scores of each respective team. Above the date engraving appears the seal of the United States Military Academy, and on the other side appears the seal for the United States Naval Academy. It is adorned with engraving detail throughout the body as well as on the bronze football on top. There are two cracks on the base of the trophy, one of which appears a repair attempt had been previously made, as seen in the photographs.
