Offered is a Barry Bonds signature on a San Francisco Giants batting helmet. The former Giants and Pittsburgh Pirates left fielder, owner of the Major League Baseball record for career home runs with 762, has signed his name in silver marker on the brim of the black plastic batting helmet. The helmet has the interlocking “SF” logo decal in orange on the front and the number “24” in white decals on the back. The size 7 ¼ American Baseball Cap batting helmet has gray foam padding on the interior right ear flap, back and top, and a brown vinyl padded sweat band. The back pad is loose from the helmet. Bonds played 22 MLB seasons, received a record seven National League Most Valuable Player awards, eight Gold Gloves and a record 12 Silver Slugger awards. The 14-time National League All-Star is considered to be one of the greatest baseball players of all time. Among his MLB hitting records is most home runs in a single season (73, set in 2001) and most career walks. This item comes with a COA from PSA/DNA (AE72502).
