Former defensive back James Hasty earned his first Pro Bowl selection during the 1997 season, which was his third year with the Kansas City Chiefs after spending the first seven seasons of his career with the New York Jets. Hasty wore this size 40 red mesh Chiefs jersey during the October 5, 1997 game at Miami in which the Dolphins won the game 17-14. This Reebok NFL PROLINE jersey has Hasty’s number “40” sewn on the front, back and sleeves in white and yellow tackle twill. “HASTY” is sewn on in the same white and yellow tackle twill on a matching red nameplate on the back above the numbers.
