It was at the very beginning of his sophomore season when Evan Longoria used this bat to hit his first homer of the 2009 season. The blast, number 28 of his career, came on April 8 against Boston’s Takashi Saito. Longoria’s home run Louisville Slugger I13 model bat shows good game use and is un-cracked. The barrel contains several prominent ball marks, one of which being the home run he hit off Saito. There are bat rack paint streaks present along with ink transfers and a light coat of pine tar is present on the handle. The knob has been stamped with the bat’s specs and a sticker with Longoria’s number “3” applied. The Rays slugger has signed the bat and inscribed the significance in blue marker. This bat comes with MLB Authenticated hologram (LH305953) for the game use and a LOA from Beckett Authentication (A23673) for the signature.
