Throughout his 20-year career in New York pinstripes, Derek Jeter has been a model of consistent excellence. 2010 was no exception: as captain of the defending World Champion Yankees, Jeter helped lead his team into another post-season by hitting .270 with 10 homers. Along the way the fans voted him onto the American League All-Star team and his flawless fielding at shortstop earned him the AL Golden Glove Award. Jeter wore this navy New York Yankees windbreaker jacket during the 2010 season. This jacket was manufactured by Majestic and is a size XL. The zipper top jacket has “NEW YORK” sewn on across the chest in gray and white tackle twill. There are two vertical gray piping stripes along the outside of the torso and the back has Jeter’s number “2” embroidered in white just below the MLB logo patch on the back collar. The remnants of the Majestic tag are on the inside back collar that does display the size (XL). This jacket displays light to moderate use and comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (FJ123630) and a LOA from Steiner Sports (181435). Please note that the LOA from Steiner mistakenlty lsit this as a short sleeve jacket, however it does have the matching hologram on the jacket and letter indicating a typo in the Steiner titling is the issue. Also please note MLB lists this jacket as Team Issued, a common designation for items collected after the season.
