Offered is a 1988 New York Yankees team-signed baseball cap with 11 signatures, including Hall of Fame pitcher Jim “Catfish” Hunter. The 11 signatures are in black pen on the green cloth underside of the brim on the New Era adjustable blue mesh cap with the Yankees iconic interlocking “NY” logo embroidered on the blue flannel front. In addition to Hunter are the signatures of Yankees managers Billy Martin and Lou Piniella, coaches George Mitterwald and Clete Boyer, owner George Steinbrenner as well as players including Ron Guidry, Tommy John, Rick Rhoden and Randy Velarde. The 1988 Yankees were 85-76 and finished fifth in the American League East under Martin in the first half and Piniella in the second half. This item comes with a full LOA from JSA (Z34381).
