It didn’t take long for Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim outfielder Mike Trout to establish himself among the best major leaguers currently playing the game. After getting his feet wet in 40 games with the Angels in 2011, Trout burst on the scene in 2012, immediately drawing comparison to some of the game’s most accomplished veterans, finishing the season with 30 home runs, a .326 batting average, and a whopping .963 OPS while league-leading 129 runs scored and 49 stolen bases. Trout was a unanimous choice for the 2012 Rookie of the Year Award but many thought he also deserved to be named MVP; he finished second behind Triple Crown winner Miguel Cabrera. These size-11.5, used but not abused, black, red and white Nike Fly Wire cleats were worn by Mike Trout during his spectacular 2012 season. Some dirt and grass still clings to the cleats and both are signed on the shiny white, patent-leather, toe-front in bold blue sharpie with “’12 GU” inscriptions and are PSA/DNA pre-certified with an Anderson Authentics LOA signed by Trout.
