Famously, the Summer Games were held in Berlin, while the IV Winter Olympics were held in Bavaria’s Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Offered in this lot is the volume one edition, blue-cover photograph album from the 1936 Winter Olympics. “Olympia 1936” and “Band 1 / Die Olympischen Winterspiele / Vorchau Auf Berlin” are printed on the front cover A German Olympic logo is also printed on the front cover.
