Offered here is a collection of Olympic memorabilia from former American shooter Dan Carlisle. Carlisle won the bronze medal at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles and placed ninth in the 1988 Seoul Olympics. This collection includes a photograph of Carlisle with former President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan, all wearing red Team USA Olympic jackets. The photo has the caption “TO DAN CARLISLE WITH best wishes, and has the autopen signatures of both the Reagans. The next item is the blue shooting jacket vest worn by Carlisle in the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. This vest has two front pockets and a pouch on the upper left chest with “Dan Carlisle 1988” embroidered in white with the Olympic rings in between. The jacket was manufactured by Marks Men House with their tag on the inside back collar. The b ack of the jacket has “USA” in red with white borders and the Olympic rings below.

The next item is Carlisle’s number “1273” white competition paper that is attached to the athlete’s uniform. This has the number “1273 printed in black with “SEOUL 1988” printed white on a blue background, the Seoul Olympics logo on the upper left and “Games of the 24th Olympiad” printed in blue below. There are three patches, one a navy patch with “Beretta” in white with the Olympic rings and “dal 1526”. A patch with “F.I.T.A.S.C.” and a “1984 SHOOTING TEAM OLYMPIC TRYOUTS” patch. There is a set of 13 pins with some duplicates, covering Olympic games from 1984 to 1996 and a gold medal from a 1986 competition.
