Throughout his career, Reggie Jackson preferred to swing natural-looking Adirondack bats like this 34.5-inch, 32-ounce model 288RJ, from labeling period 1977-1979; Jackson's first three years with the New York Yankees. "Mr. October" began earning his moniker right away knocking five home runs in the ’77 World Series with a .450 batting average against the L.A. Dodgers and two more home runs with 8 RBI at a .391 clip in the ’78 Series again in a series win over Los Angeles. This bat signed by Reggie on the barrel in bold black sharpie contains numerous black ink ball marks and stitch indentations as well as plenty of cleat impressions and bat rack paint. The top of the barrel is affixed with PSA/DNA authentication stickers for the bat (#1B05777) and signature (#U69433) and the bat also comes with a PSA/DNA letter of authenticity with GU 8 grading.
