Offered here is an Official National League Warren Giles stamped baseball with 27 signatures of Hall of Famers and stars of the 1950’s. The highlight of this ball is the bold blue pen signature of Hall of Famer Jimmie Foxx, whose signature runs along the stitching from the east panel into the sweet spot. Also on this ball are the Hall of Fame signatures of Heinie Manush and Phil Rizzuto. Additional signatures include Art Daley, Hal Schumacher, Red Barber, Chico Carrasquel, Sandy Consuegra, Joe Fitzgerald, Grover Froese, Hy Goldberg, Pat Harmon, Mel Hoderlein, Frank Leja, Doc Lenz, Cholly Naranjo, Carlos Paula, Jim Rivera, Bob Ross, Bunky Stewart, Dean Stone, Wayne Terwilliger, Eddie Yost and four others. The signatures have been signed in different shades of blue pen, with the exception of Dean Stone, who signed his name in red. “756” is inscribed in red on two spots on the west panel. There are three signatures from reporters representing the “NY News”, “Newark News” and “Cincinnati Post”. This ball is in good condition, displaying moderate toning.
