Drazen Petrovic played in the NBA from 1989-1993 for the Portland Trail Blazers and New Jersey Nets and averaged 15.4 points per game and shot 44% from 3-point range and led the national team of Croatia to a silver medal at the 1992 summer Olympic Games. With likely a long and productive NBA career ahead of him, Petrovic died tragically in an automobile accident in 1993 on the German autobahn. This cachet envelope is in excellent condition and features a Barcelona 1992 Olympics postage stamp and ink stamp, a brief bio of Petrovic’s playing career and an image of Petrovic in play. The item is also signed in blue ink and is fairly legible. COA by PSA/DNA #S73576.
