Dustin Pedroia wore this dark blue Red Sox alternate road jersey during a 4-1 loss against the New York Yankees on May 31, 2013. Pedroia was the lone bright spot for the Red Sox, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and the lone run scored. Pedroia had an excellent 2013 season, hitting .301 with 84 RBI. He picked up a Gold Glove Award in the offseason for his stellar fielding at second base and he helped lead the Sox to their eighth World Series title that season, defeating the St. Louis Cardinals in a six-game series.

This dark blue jersey has “BOSTON” sewn across the front in red-on-white tackle twill. “PEDROIA” and “15” are sewn on the back of the jersey in red-on-white tackle twill. A circular “B[oston] STRONG” patch honoring the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing April 15, 2013 is sewn on the left sleeve above a white Majestic logo. A Majestic Authentic Collection tag has been applied to the front left tail above a rectangular “15 42 ‘13” tag. An MLB logo has been sewn on the outside back collar. This jersey has been authenticated by MLB Authentication (EK641185) authenticating Pedroia’s use of this jersey on May 31st. Please note that the MLB hologram came loose from this jersey after it was washed. The hologram is now affixed to a printout of the MLB database listing of this jersey and will be included.
