Hall of Famer. The brightly colored graphics seen on this sublimely crafted container depict the last hitter to log a batting average higher than .400 in a season. In 1959, the Topps monopoly kept Fleer from producing a current, multi-player set, so the company side-stepped the issue by putting together a commemorative series to honor Ted Williams. The offered 24-Count wax box, still incubating its entire measure of glistening and fresh, unopened packs, is a fabulous unopened relic of that universally admired release. The box's appearance concedes minimal evidence of handling on its supremely visual surface, and its contents are presumed to constitute satisfying sights possessing equally wondrous character. The 8" x 3-3/4" x 1-3/4" box is protected by securely sealed "Baseball Card Exchange" plastic wrapping (with BBCE descriptive label on the underside). A very rare piece, projecting marvelous image resolution in its pair of prominent Williams likenesses!
