Offered is a Marilyn Monroe signature and inscription on a 1950 original 20th Century Fox studio portrait photograph of the Hollywood legend. Monroe has inscribed “To Al Bacus, my deepest thanks and warmest regards Marilyn Monroe” in blue pen in the lower left corner of the 8 x 10-inch black and white photograph which is a head and shoulder portrait of the film star. Famous for playing comedic "blonde bombshell" characters, Monroe became one of the most popular sex symbols of the 1950s and early 1960s. She was a top-billed actress for only a decade, but her films, notably “Bus Stop”, “Niagara”, and “Some Like it Hot,” grossed $200 million by the time of her death in 1962.  This item comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AH05086).
