Offered in this lot is a collection of three game used and issued items from Juan Pierre’s 2006 season with the Chicago Cubs. Pierre had a career-year in his only campaign with the Cubs, leading the National League in hits (204) and tying a career-high with 13 triples. Pierre posted a Triple Crown slash line of .291/3/40 with 32 doubles, 58 steals, and a scant 38 strikeouts.

The first item in this list is a blue Chicago Cubs batting helmet worn by Pierre. The Cubs logo is affixed to the front of the helmet, while an MLB logo and Pierre’s number “9” are applied to the back of the helmet. The second item in this lot is Pierre’s game used black 2006 Louisville Slugger C271 model bat. This bat displays outstanding game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, stitch impressions and white leather scuffs present on the barrel, along with checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact. The handle has been taped in a spiral pattern to enhance the grip. The final item in this lot is a game issued black Mizuno fielder’s glove for the left-handed Pierre.
