The future Hall of Famer Albert Pujols wore this red Los Angeles Angels batting helmet on the day he passed Ken Griffey Jr for sixth place on the all-time home run leaderboard. Pujols crushed this milestone dinger against the Chicago White Sox on July 25th, 2018 at Angel Stadium of Anaheim during a comfortable 11-3 win over their Central Division opponents. Pujols hit his historic home run in the second inning against James Shields to put Los Angeles up 2-0. The three-time National League MVP went 3-4 with two singles and his lone stolen base of the season before being lifted for a pinch runner in the sixth inning.
Entering the 2020 MLB season, Pujols sits at 656 career homers, needing only four more to tie Willie Mays for fifth on the all-time list. This offered Angels batting helmet is red, with the flap located over the left ear. An Angels “A” logo is applied to the front of the helmet, while Pujols’ number “5” and an MLB logo are applied to the back. An MLB Authentic Collection tag, a Rawlings tag, and a size “7 3/8” sticker are located inside the helmet. This helmet comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (JD554006).
