Three of the greatest golfers in history are captured in this 1996 photograph. In what can be considered the passing of the torch, a young Tiger Woods, making his Masters’ debut, is teeing off at Augusta National with Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus looking on in the background. Tiger, the winner of five Masters (1997, 2001, 2002, 2005 & 2019) is in his follow-through practice swing looking forward and signed his name in black marker to the right of his image. Palmer, the winner of four Masters (1958, 1960, 1962 & 1964) is standing on the tee box with his arms folded looking forward. Palmer signed his name below his image in black marker. Nicklaus, the all-time leader in Masters’ victories with six (1963, 1965, 1966, 1972, 1975 & 1986) is pictured behind Tiger to the left and leaning on his club, also looking forward. Nicklaus signed his name in black marker below his image. This color photograph has been matted in white with a plate in the bottom center that reads “TIGER WOODS * THREE TIME CHAMPION ARNOLD PALMER * FOUR TIME CHAMPION JACK NICKLAUS * SIX TIME CHAMPION 1996 MASTERS * AUGUSTA NATIONAL”. Also mounted on this 34 x 53-inch framed display are two Masters’ pins. This item comes with a LOA from JSA.
