1964 American League Rookie of the Year Tony Oliva spent his entire career with the Minnesota Twins which spanned 15 seasons. Oliva finished his career with an impressive .304 batting average and was an eight-time all-star. Oliva wore this flannel Twins jersey home jersey during the 1971 season where he was the American League batting champion with a sterling .337 average. This button-down jersey was manufactured by Wilson and is a size 42. “Twins” and a paraph are sewn on diagonally across the chest in navy and red tackle twill. The Wilson size 42 tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail and the team strip tag is sewn on the inside back collar that reads “71-42-Set 1”. Oliva’s number “6” is sewn on in navy and red tackle twill on the back and a “Minnie and Paul” Twin Cities logo patch of two players shaking hands is on the left sleeve. The jersey displays moderate game use with puckering on the number and letters. This jersey comes with a LOA from Sports Investors Authentication (200405A7) for the game use.
