The Houston Rockets entered the 1994-95 NBA season as defending champions and led by the 1-2 punch of Hakeem Olajuwon and late season acquisition of Hall of Famer Clyde Drexler, they looked poised to defend their crown. Olajuwon did it all, scoring 27.8 points per game to go along with 10.8 rebounds, 3.4 blocks and 1.8 steals, while Drexler averaged 21.4 PPG, 7.0 RPG and 1.8 steals. Before being traded to Portland for Drexler, Otis Thorpe contributed 13.3 points and 8.9 rebounds per contest. After getting by the Utah Jazz, Phoenix Suns and San Antonio Spurs – each in a tough series – the Spurs swept the Orlando Magic, four games to none, in the NBA Finals.

Presented here is a 14K gold 1995 Houston Rockets NBA championship ring, featuring the depictions of two championship trophies, filled with diamonds, with additional diamonds surrounding the images. Reading around the outer perimeter is “ROCKETS WORLD CHAMPIONS 94 95” in relief work. An enamel-filled NBA logo, on the backdrop of an American flag, centers one side of the ring. “BACK 2 BACK” is displayed in a banner at the top while “Believe it Again!” reads at the bottom. The name “DUNLOP” appears on the opposite side, above a Rockets team logo set within the shape of a heart. This ring is marked “INTERGOLD 14K” inside the band, and is an approximate size 11, weighing approximately 38.3 grams.
