Behind the one-man wrecking crew of Hakeem Olajuwon, the 1993-94 Houston Rockets finished the regular season with a record of 58-24. OIajuwon – who was named the NBA Most Valuable Player – put up averages of 27.3 points, 11.9 rebounds, 3.7 blocked shots and 1.6 steals per game. Additional help came in the form of Otis Thorpe (14.0 PPG, 10.6 RPG) and Vernon Maxwell (13.6 PPG). In the playoffs, the Rockets defeated the Portland Trail Blazers, Phoenix Suns and Utah Jazz to reach the NBA Finals, where they would defeat the New York Knicks in a hard-fought seven-game series.

Offered here is a 10K gold 1994 Houston Rockets NBA championship ring, manufactured by Intergold. The face of this ring features a depiction of a Rockets team logo surrounded by diamonds. Around the outer perimeter reads “WORLD CHAMPIONS 1994” in relief work.  One side of the ring is highlighted by a beautifully colored NBA logo, with “CLUTCH CITY” appearing above it and “58-24” down below. The opposite side is centered by an image of the championship trophy in the foreground of the city skyline. “PAGAN” is at the top and “STAFF” reads at the bottom. “INTERGOLD 10K” is marked inside the band of this approximate size 12 ring, with the weight an approximate 37.3 grams.
