Arguably the greatest basketball player that ever lived, Michael Jordan had a passion for basketball. Jordan proved he could handle baseball as well when he took a two-year hiatus from the Chicago Bulls in 1993 and 1994 to pursue a career on the diamond. However, many would argue that his true passion is the game of golf. Jordan is avid golfer and didn’t start playing until his junior season had just concluded at North Carolina with an upset loss to Indiana in the East Regional semi-final. It just so happened that one of the people that got him introduced to the game was PGA Pro Davis Love III, who was a sophomore at UNC in 1984. After Jordan played his first round that spring, he was hooked, and has been playing ever since. Offered here is one of Michael Jordan’s golf clubs – a hard-to-hit 2-iron. This 2-iron is a Forged Personal Model and shows outstanding use. The club has a Griprite gripe and is fully intact and has a steel shaft. A great piece of Michael Jordan used memorabilia from arguably his now first love in sports and it comes with a LOA from Upper Deck for its authenticity.
