Two-time Norris Trophy winning defenseman Erik Karlsson wore this red Ottawa Senators home jersey on December 29th, 2016 at the Canadian Tire Center against the Detroit Red Wings during Daniel Alfredsson Retirement Night. Karlsson led all Senators skaters in ice time in the 3-2 overtime loss to the Red Wings. Karlsson, a four-time All-Star, finished the 2016-17 season with 17 goals and 54 assists for the Eastern Conference finalists.
This offered Senators jersey is red, with white and black accents. A large Senators logo patch is sewn on the chest next to a white and black captain’s “C” patch and a Daniel Alfredsson Retirement Night patch. “KARLSSON” is sewn across the back shoulders in white tackle twill over a matching red nameplate, while the Swedish defenseman’s number “65” is sewn on the back and both sleeves in white and black tackle twill. Ottawa logo patches are sewn on both sleeves and a Reebok patch is sewn on the back outside collar. A fight strap is present in the jersey and a size “56” flag is sewn on the back inside collar. This jersey comes with a LOA from the Senators.
