Recently elected Hall of Famer Harold Baines was the first full-time designated hitter and 1988 was the last full season with the Chicago White Sox for Baines, who hit 13 home runs, drove in 81 and had a .277 batting average. Baines used this Rawlings 369B model bat during the 1988 season. This bat displays outstanding use with a slight crack in the grain un the upper handle. This bat displays prominent white leather scuffs and blue ink transfers on the back barrel. The lower handle has been taped in a criss-cross pattern to enhance the grip. The model number “369B” has been stamped on the knob and Baines’ number “3” has been handwritten in silver marker on the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.
