Presented is a Dr. Seuss signature on a hardcover copy of his 1940 children’s book, “Horton Hatches the Egg”. The noted children’s book author, born Theodor Geisel, wrote and illustrated more than 60 books under his pen name, including some of the most popular children’s books of all time. He has signed “Dr. Seuss” in black marker on the fly leaf of the book with a “squiggle” graphic below his signature. The colorful hardcover 8¼ x 11¼-inch book, published by Random House, has illustrations in green, orange and black on white paper, with orange endpapers. The glossy cardboard cover was published without a jacket. This item comes with a LOA from JSA.
