Argentina and Barcelona star Lionel Messi was issued this Argentina national soccer team jersey during the 2018 FIFA World Cup game played in Moscow’s Otkritie Arena against Iceland in a Group D clash. Messi and la albiceleste went ahead on a 19th minute goal by Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero, but was soon put back by Iceland’s Alfred Finnbogason in the 23rd minute as the match ended in 1-1 draw.
This offered Argentina change shirt is black, with sky-blue and white stripes along the upper right and left torso with Messi’s number “10” printed on the chest and white. “MESSI” is printed across the back shoulders in white lettering. An AFA crest with two gold stars and an Adidas logo are located on the chest. “ARGENTINA – ICELAND 16 JUNE 2018 MOSCOW” is printed in white between the Adidas logo and Argentina crest on the front. A FIFA “LIVING FOOTBALL” green patch is affixed to the left sleeve and a 2018 World Cup Russia patch is located on the right sleeve. The jersey is a size “6” and it comes with a letter of provenance from Rogelson Da Silva Barreto Junior, the son of a Brazil National Team shirts manager Rogelson da Silva Barreto (Sr) who received Messi’s shirt from Argentina kit man Mario de Stefano.
